Montessori education is a separate discipline of education altogether that was devised by Dr. Maria Montessori and hence the name. This method of education focuses on the holistic development of the child. The main goal of this form of education is to prepare the child for the challenges of life and the ever changing world and not just a way of determining the intellectual abilities of the child. The Preschool Montessori methods adopt different interactive techniques that help the child in facing different types of challenges. The teaching techniques are generally based on constructive models which let the student learn things by doing it themselves rather than following set rules and regulations.
Need of quality Montessori Education
The Preschool Montessori education focuses on the children’s mental and psychological ability, and also social and physical development. This form of teaching helps the children learn through activities and creativity so that they enjoy the entire learning process and what they learn stays on for their entire lifetime. Every child has their own tendencies and the education should be such so that they facilitate and respond to their expression. Students learn better in a warm and understanding environment and thus a trained teacher must be kind and patient with the children throughout the learning process.
Hope Montessori School
The Hope Montessori is preschool and kindergarten school for the children that have been licensed for 19 students by the Arizona Department of health. The schools are attached to a house in a rural area with one teacher and one assistant. The school has been providing education and training to the children and helping them builds a strong foundation for their future for as long as 20 years. The Preschool house even though attached to a house has a separate entrance, bathroom and a playground. The homely environment creates comfortable atmosphere for the students to learn and discover their own skills.
The Hope Montessori pays equal attention to all the students as the number of the students is less. The patience and the dedication of the teachers help the students to get over their initial state of hesitation and start loving school. The Montessori education starts with the practical life exercises which train the children in good manners and behaviours, concentration, coordination, self care etc. The sensorial education is engaging the 5 senses into activities and the follows language training, simple mental mathematics to sharpen the abilities of the mind and then science education.
